premium alkyd enamel paint

Interior / exterior enamel. Ideal for doors, windows and any wooden or steel surface requiring a very smooth and hard wearing finish. Ensures an extremely elastic surface. This enamel is easy to work and resistant to spills, while it has excellent flow and a great hiding power. Extremely durable, withstands yellowing, highly resistant to adverse weather conditions, air pollution and highly washable.

Preparation

Carefully prepare surface to obtain good results. Remove all weathered coatings, loose materials and oils. Sand and remove sanding residue with a rag.

► Wood:
Apply 1-2 coats of PAINTOL SATIN (new wood: putty and sand and then prime with VELATOURA undercoat).

► Metal:
Apply 1-2 coats of PAINTOL SATIN (new metal: prime with ANTIRUST or MARINE MINIO undercoat for antirust protection).

Use

Roller, brush or spray airless. Thin by 0-3% WHITE SPIRIT/THINNER 135.

► Stir well before use.
► Sand surface smooth with the right sandpaper for the task before painting.
► Apply two coats with a roller or brush thinned with WHITE SPIRIT by 0-5% or thinned with airless gun thinner THINNER 135 by 3% for application with an airless gun.
► Wait for the first coat to fully harden before applying the second coat.
► To improve the chemical and mechanical resistance of the final surface, add ADDITIVE 220 by 10-20% by volume (pot life: 8 hours).
